Coronavirus

Human coronaviruses most commonly spread from an infected person to others through:

  • The air by coughing and sneezing
  • Close personal contact, such as touching or shaking hands
  • Touching an object or surface with the virus on it, then touching your mouth, nose, or eyes before washing your hands
  • Rarely, fecal contamination

It is highly recommended to receive a flu shot during this outbreak.

Services

The Immunization Division services the community by providing vaccines and immunization for children (ages 3 months to 18 years of age) as well as for adults (Traveling Vaccinations and Flu Shots).

The Division also Conducts Lead Alert Inspections as referred by the state of Indiana Department of Health.

No cash payments accepted for any services at the Health Department.
