Advertise on East Chicago Transit (E.C.T.) buses and take advantage of the low cost and high visibility that it offers. E.C.T. has a total of six buses, four buses in route that provide service throughout the City of East Chicago and parts of Griffith and Hammond. Four buses are in service from 5:55 AM to 8:40 PM, Monday through Friday and three buses on Saturday from 9:05 AM to 4:40 PM.  E.C.T. has no service on Sundays or Holidays.   NOTE: ALL BUSES ARE ROTATED DAILY

The advertiser is responsible for contracting with a printing company for the design and printing of the material to be displayed.  The advertiser is responsible for all printing and design costs.  Upon request, our professional staff can assist the advertiser by providing the names of local printing company, but E.C.T. does not endorse or recommend any printing company.

The dimension of the advertising space: Must Provide 6 (six) exterior displays and will only be charged for 4 (four) advertising area)

Exterior:

29ft. buses: two (2) exterior frames (one (1) rear and one (1) street side) 

35ft. buses: three (3) exterior frames (one (1) rear, (1) one street side and (1) curbside)

• Rear Frame: 22” x 73”x1/8” (4mm) thick  -Advertising Area: 19” x 70” @ $100.00 per month per frame

• Street Side Frame: 29” x 109”1/8” (4mm) thick -Advertising Area: 28” x 108” @ $135.00 per month per frame

• Curb Side Frame: 22” x 73”x1/8” (4mm) thick - Advertising Area: 19” x 70” @ $100.00 per month per frame. 35ft. buses ONLY

All exterior signs should be 1/8”(4mm) thick and on an exterior corroplast type of material. No wooden signs are permitted. The material must be able to withstand extreme temperatures and precipitation.

Interior:

Interior advertising is also available, Advertising Area is 11”x 24” x 1/16” (2mm) thick----16 spaces available.

The cost to advertise per interior space is: $150.00 for 3 months. We have a total of six (6) buses which are rotated daily, four (4) buses in route weekly in exception to Saturday three (3) buses (Must provide six (6) displays and will only be charged for four(4) advertising area. Each additional display is extra.)

General Information:

A minimum three (3) months advertising contract is required for all exterior and interior space or frame except for political advertising, which can be on monthly basis.  A minimum contact must be paid in full when contract is signed.

A 10% discount is available on all advertising contracts that exceed twelve (12) months that are paid in advance.

Advertising space is available on a first come basis.  With regard to political signage, once a candidate has secured advertising on a bus, no other candidate, running for the same office will be advertised in the same venue. Booking for political advertising will not be accepted more than six (6) months in advance of an election and must be paid in advance.

All advertisers are required to sign an advertising contract.
