ROXANA PARK, EAST CHICAGO, IN
Please join us and East Chicago Mayor Anthony Copeland in planting 50 native
Indiana trees in Roxana Park and in the surrounding neighborhood!
WHEN: Friday, April 24th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. The planting ceremony will begin at 10 am. Afterward, we will split into groups and plant trees in designated locations throughout the park and neighborhood.
WHERE: Roxana Park is located at 900 Shell St., East Chicago, IN 46312. Parking will be available in the Community Center and Roxana Park lot. Please stop by the check-in table underneath the pop-up tent!
WHAT TO BRING: Planting will take place rain or shine! Please dress for the weather. Plan to wear sturdy, close-toed shoes and bring a water bottle!
All tools, gloves, and instructions will be provided. Light snacks and refreshments will follow the planting.
