2020 Operation Light It Up Program 

All qualified applicants must meet the following criteria to receive a free security light:

1. Own and reside in your East Chicago home.
   
   
2. Provide a proof of homeownership.
   1. Original and copy of homestead exemption.
   2. Original and copy of utility bill (water, NIPSCO, or cable)
      
      
3. Provide a valid driver’s license or state ID.
   
   
4. Applications and required documents must be COMPLETED and submitted in its ENTIRETY.
   
   
5. Submit completed application and documents BY MAIL to:
