      • The location of all fencing and associated bases shall adhere to all setback and yard requirements provided in the zoning ordinance and shall be within the property line.       • All fences shall be maintained in a state of repair. (Todos cercas se mantendrá en un estado de reparación)
      • Barbed wire, razor wire, and electrically charged fences are not permitted in residential zoning districts. (Alambre de púas, alambre y cercas cargadas eléctricamente no son permitidos en los distritos de zonificación residencial.)
      • Properties that have or undergoing new construction, demolition, and/or repair require a certain fence enclosed to secure the site. (Propiedades que tienen o sometidos a nueva construcción, demolición o reparación requieren una cierta valla cerrada para asegurar el sitio)
      • Fences in the front of the building line shall not exceed four (4.0) feet height unless approved by variance. (Vallas en el frente de la línea de edificación no excederá de cuatro (4,0) pies de altura a menos que el aprobado por la varianza)
      • Side yard fences shall not exceed a height of six (6.0) feet. (Cercas de la yarda de lado no deben exceder una altura de seis pies (6,0).)

I understand that the contractor must sign this application if the work is being performed by a contractor.       ADVISORY NOTE FOR NO PLAT OF SURVEY: I have been advised that a Plat of Survey is required for the purpose of establishing property lines. I understand that if I do not submit a Plat of Survey, I am assuming the responsibility of any issues that may arise and furthermore, will hold the City of East Chicago harmless. (UN AVISO SOBRE NO CONTENIENDO UN PLATO DE ENCUESTRA: Se me ha informado que se requiere un Plato de Encuestra para establecer lineas de propiedad.
